A father and son. A new passion. One course at a time.
Tuffnuckles Disc Golf follows Tommy and Timmy, a father-and-son team discovering the game of disc golf together. What started as learning a new sport quickly became a shared passion—and a reason to get outside, explore new places, and see just how different every disc golf course can be.
As amateur players ourselves, we noticed something was missing when we started looking for new courses to play. We could find ratings, scorecards, maps, and videos of people playing rounds—but it was surprisingly difficult to find a genuine visual guide to what a course is actually like before making the trip.
That’s what Tuffnuckles Disc Golf is about.
Rather than focusing on watching us play full rounds, our goal is to showcase the courses themselves. We want to walk you through the layout, scenery, terrain, tee areas, baskets, signature holes, course conditions, difficulty, amenities, and the overall experience—giving everyday players a better idea of what to expect before they go.
We’re starting close to home in Southern California, exploring and reviewing courses throughout the region. From there, we plan to take Tuffnuckles on the road—discovering destination courses throughout the United States and eventually around the world.
We’re not professional disc golfers, and that’s part of the point. We’re learning the game just like millions of other recreational players. Our reviews come from the perspective of everyday golfers looking for great places to play, travel, and experience the sport.
